Q: What Types of Trees are Planted to Benefit the
Environment?
A: Appropriate and ecologically friendly tree
species that are optimized to grow in their habitat. These may include
quality hardwoods such as: Ash, Aspen, Birch, Buckeye, Cherry, Hickory,
Maple, Oak, and Walnut. Hardy Evergreens may include: Austrian
Pine, Blue Spruce, Douglas Fir, Lodgepole Pine, Red Cedar, Scotch Pine,
and White Pine.

A2: An Organizational Environmental Tree Impact Certificate!
This customized certificate will have the environmental impact
calculations of your fundraising effort, showing how you helped save the
environment. You will want to frame and display this certificate!
A3: An opportunity to win the coveted “Enviro-Tree Award” This
award goes to the school selling the most trees between September 2007
and May 15, 2008.
A4: Two Media Press Releases! We’ll send you a customized
press release that introduces your community to the fundraiser and a
follow-up release that will show your environmental impact.
A5: Tree Educational Unit! We strongly believe in education.
That is why you will receive a free tree educational unit (primary,
intermediate, middle, or secondary grades) with your order of 100 or
more trees! Students learn as they help the environment!
Q: Can we designate where the trees are planted?
A: Not at this time. The National Environmental Science Education
Center, Inc. determines the optimal location and time for tree survival.
Q: Why don’t I get a tree to plant myself?
A: At NESEC Inc. we are concerned about the environment. By shipping
thousands of trees we would be adding to the carbon footprint of the
atmosphere and potentially spreading harmful tree diseases. In
addition, tree seedlings are extremely fragile and require delicate
handling to ensure survival. Our trees are planted only at a time of
the year to ensure optimal survival.

the trees come from?
A: From local and reputable nurseries.
Q: Who
is the National Environmental Science Education Center, Inc.?

Leaders in the environmental science
field, the National Environmental Science Education Center, Inc. is an
Environmental Education company that wants to truly make a difference in
the environment through educating students and adults to the best
practices for the environment. N.E.S.E.C., Inc. champions the
environment through a variety of projects including reforestation.
Reforestation has the most immediate impact in the environment by
reducing the carbon footprint and providing the best opportunity to
improve wildlife habitat and decrease climate change.
Q: When will I receive my Environmental
Tree Impact Certificate?
A: We will customize and send your
certificates to the school for distribution no longer than 6 to 8 weeks,
usually much faster.
Q: Do sellers receive prizes?
A: The top three sellers
receive customized certificates that show their positive environmental
impact. In addition, anyone who sells 25 or more trees can choose one
prize. Unlike other fundraising companies, our prizes are not "trinkety"
junk that end up in landfills. We believe in giving young sellers
the opportunity to demonstrate good environmental choices by providing
gift cards to stores that can be redeemed for environmentally friendly
merchandise. The school does have an additional incentive. Sell
1000 trees and we will award the school a grant of $50.00 that can be
used to fund anything from a class party, educational supplies, or an
award for top sellers.
